I seriously need to review my comments on Patikym.com. I realized that I've become a bully :P Well, I read your posts and then see everyone giving you same comments. I feel it's kinda boring to be like everybody, so I give you special Kafkaesque comments. For example, if I commented the normal way on the post above, I would be like:
"Awwww Kym, I'm also not a plant person. Gosh, that snowman is so cute. Anyway, I would totally kill that plant, too. Awww..."
A Kafkaesque version would be:
"Hey Kym, the plants are already holding secret meeting, they can't take this anymore, they gotta do something. I received a secret diplomatic cable and I heard that they're planning an assassination, but it's supposed to look like an accident. Please avoid big oaks, thorny roses and innocent looking cactuses :P"
Haha, awwww... I've killed 2 plants in 2 years! I have a little basil plant and it died randomly one day. And my little bamboo plant is dying right now.
I'm great with vegetable plants thanks to my farmer heritage. But if it's not going to feed me, it's on it's own to survive. Non-veggie plants don't survive if they make the mistake of depending on me. But before you make the joke, my wife and kids are proof that people are safe with me--even if they don't feed me. =)
Also, I'm glad herro hachi won't be expanding into that southern market.
haha awww this is too funny coz i forget to water the one & only plant my mom left me in charge for but thankfully its still alive...maybe my grandma secretly waters it haha i seriously havent watered it in 6 months haha
You know what!? I am the same... but those plants are real sensitive. They need EXTRA care... I tried to grow vegetables in my garden but all died if I don't open the window for 2 days. My friend said she talks to her vegetables every day. At first, I thought that's ridiculous but is true.
BTW, yes! I hope I can cook for you two near future! Next year, we are moving to our new home (hopefully renovated as we planned). If everything goes fine, I will ;)
OMG Kym I'm the same way!! I love them so much because I like having them around my apartment, but I kill pretty much EVERYTHING!
Ricky always asking me why I keep buying new plants if we all know they're gunna die >_< I just like the way they look in the apartment. SO far though, I have one that's still alive & I hope it stays that way. Seems to be a VERY hardy plant!! ^__^ hahhaa
My grandma even potted me some plants and said "here, these won't die. Not the weather or even you can kill them" and well.. they're dead -____-
banana bug o.O I like plants but I'm not good with them either. You should start off with something that requires not too much attention haha I'm sure you won't kill them =)
LOL I absolutely am the same! I tried to grow grass once for my guinea pig because they sell these pots of grass to feed your guinea pig....and I couldn't even grow grass! Grass!
oh my! look at that poor whithered plant! he didn't even stand a chance to last all the way to xmas day! hahaha maybe that evil snowman sucked all the moisture out...
i think richmond is one of the places i most frequent! downtown is nice and sometimes has some events going on but I hate paying for parking and all those crowns of ppl! My bf says that we shouldn't live in richmond ever because I would spend myself silly at daiso or some other random asian place =P yikes! hahaha
we do talk about the future but the ball hasn't started rolling yet since Im still in school and am relatively young (hey 21 is still youngish to me! haha)but we do definitely hit up some main issues (concerns) lol and I've slapped him with some of my "girl" number (age) dates (baby before 30 pls) LOL do you two have silly things like that too?

Hahaha! I suffer from the same affliction. WHich is sad because my mum has a green thumb.
Anyway, the rosettes can be made into a centerpiece, yeah. If you choose the right satin, you will not get burnt edges. The singed part will still be the same as the fabric's color. :D
hehe I am so the same, except I literally cant keep it alive for more than two days, maybe its because I live in the UK and its so cold here (currently snowing) and I always have the heating on, which is probably whats killing them off hehe
hahaha! i've never really tried to keep plants alive. even when i received flowers, as soon as they started to wilt i hung them upside down to dry and save them.

Hi kym,

You are so cute Kym :D
You should ask tips from my Mom then, she's ah-ma-zing with plants!
ahh, how to lose a guy in 10 days in one of my fav movies!! And don't feel too alone Kym... I can't keep a plant alive to save my life. :D
LOL I absolutely am the same! I tried to grow grass once for my guinea pig because they sell these pots of grass to feed your guinea pig....and I couldn't even grow grass! Grass!
the orchid that my patient gave me already dried.
that shows how much time i spent at home - almost zero.
i miss my home, and being at home. sigh.
lol, that's ok cause you're still an awesome blogger. That counts more.
I'm pretty bad too - I've killed 3 orchids. My husband had to go hire out the landscaping because if he left it to me, we'd have vast mounds of dirt.
And YAY, congrats to being engaged!!! It's such a fun, exciting time in your life! If you have a wedding site, I'd love to see it!
LOL I don't have a green thumb either. XD Wah I can't believe you licked the slug and got numb
