Eating for a Cause

So, you're all probably tired of hearing that i'm getting married in less than 2 months but... i'm getting married in less than 2 months and I should be eating well, exercising, all that good stuff but how can you resist when it's for a good cause!?

Last night, my sister-in-law + one of my bridesmaids and I went to a fundraiser called Bake for the Quake where different bakers come together to sell their specialties and hungry people like me looking for any excuse to eat come to buy them to help those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

As if you weren't drooling enough from my last post, here are some more pictures!

Yes, a bacon cookie (with ginger)! I'm a pretty big fan of bacon and it seems to be popping up everywhere nowadays - bacon mints, bacon cupcakes, bacon ice cream sundae.

What is the oddest dessert you've had?

We know you're always up for helping a good cause. It's not your fault that doing good in this case involved eating. I could almost smell the Nutella cookies. Yum!

I don't know that I've ever had an odd dessert, although I once in a while did get a little worm with my apple when I'd eat them straight from the tree. My parents had 7 apple trees.

I knew I could count on you for support, but could you go after the girl who bit me in the 1st grade instead??? =)

Don't worry, I am not tired of hearing you talk about your wedding! It's good inspiration and tips as planning a wedding is uber stressful =.=

I haven't tried bacon flavored pastries but I am definitely interested in trying some.

Biko!!! I love that!! Haven't any in a while 'cause it's not easy to find it here in the city. I don't know how to make it so.. :P

Any "dessert" that isn't ALL sweet is weird for me. :P

hmmm, i don't like bacon very much! i guess i don't mind it but i definitely prefer something chicken instead.

i think the weirdest dessert i've had was fried butter :P

at that same place i had the fried butter, sold chocolate dipped bacon. perhaps you would have liked that, LOL!
