Yes, Patty. I know it was meant for me b/c it had to do with my business. I just feel like if you're not going to spend the time to even find out what my name is, why should I spend time responding to you? Is that too much to ask? :)
It did make me laugh though... I can't imagine myself being named "Patty"... haha!
What variations of your name have you gotten? :D

Well I guess now you can change your blog address to pattykym.blogspot.com! HAHAA! I've gotten all kinds of spellings for my name. I don't mind them so much but I get really peeved when teachers pronounce my name wrong.
Ps; yes, June appears to be *the month* for my family. lol.
lol. robin???
ahhaha wow! I agree with you! This actually reminds me of the first day I met my bf......I didn't even get his name LOL oops! Luckily my name's pretty generic so I haven't gotten any random nicknames yet but for some odd reason, people tend to get too friendly sometimes and call me "sam" right away, in an email, after class.....maybe it's just me but personally, the only people that call me sam are my mum and my sis but NO ONE ELSE really calls me that.....I'd rather suki, honestly I've been thinking of making it my middle name LOL ( sine high school!)
random side note: Im glad your business is doing so well!!!!
agreed. Apart from spelling my name (which is Mikelle, pronounced Mih-kel) like mchale, mckel, mikkel, mikel, makel... the list could go on. I most often heard it pronounced wrong... mikayla, mckenna, mackel, michael....
People just have trouble with my name! I always have to say "Mikelle, like Michelle"
yikes.
sorry about someone messing up your name. I agree, whenever someone spells or says my name wrong, I think if you didn't bother to learn it right, why should I bother to listen/talk to you?
oh boy, really? lol.. i don't think i could imagine you as a patty and i only know you online and read your blogs. :D i hate it myself when someone mispronounces my name it can be annoying.
HI PATTY haha
I always get super nervous about forgetting ppl's names. For some reason, a lot of ppl think my name is Christina or Jennifer. I don't get it.
Ahhh, Patty, a wonderful name for such a fine Irish lass on this day o' green. For me, it's the last name that provides a wide variety of spellings and pronounciations. As for using my imagination, I'm skipping that...the thought of someone calling you an inappropriate "name" makes me want to punch them in the nose. **frowny face**
Well Patty, go ahead and change your blog name now. :) Seriously, all throughout grade school, high school and College, teachers and classmates always spell my name wrong. Even my MIL can't spell my name right. Whats so hard with Gessyl?? Gah!
People usually just misspell my first name or last name. Can't blame them but it's still annoying sometimes. :P Hah that person obviously didn't check out your profile.
Well, my Chinese translation name is difficult for Americans to pronounce. So throughout high school I just went with my last name Kao. In college, people seemed to think that's short for Calvin or Kelvin. Well, so I went with it and had my legal name changed several years later.
Hi Bekky! Patty pala! Loljk. Ako, I always get my name wrong. It's Krystna but I always get called at Kristina, Krista, Krisina, etc. Kaya naman when I order at coffee shops, I tell them my name is Kaye or April or May. But sometimes they still get Kaye wrong. They spell it out sa KEY.
your name seems "readable" pa nga e.. why can't they pronounce it right! and as for the patty... hahaha what a generic name he/she used! how convenient :)) i guess with my name..more on the pronouncing part nagkakamali... hesel.. haSEL (like hassle)... :-| i just ignore 'em :))
Hi Patty! :) LOL Ü hehe
My name is Irene but people often replace 'r' with 'l'. :( I sometimes have to spell out my name or stress out, syllabling it - "E-reh-neh" which is actually the correct pronunciation as it is Greek in nature, meaning 'peace'. :)
I’m not too sure how to pronounce your name since I’m rather new here but going by breaking the syllables down. I would pronounce as “patty-kim”. Ah! There’s “patty” inside. Am I pronouncing it wrongly?
I don’t have much problem with people pronouncing my name. They just like to spell as “Jolin” instead of Jolene since Jolin Tsai, the hot and famous taiwanese singer is more popular. And I absolutely hate it when I introduce myself and people say “Oh, Jolin Tsai!” I don’t exactly like her and it’s no fun being associated with someone you don’t like. I’m perfectly fine with blogger friends addressing me as “Jo” since that’s how I call myself on www w/o revealing the full english name but in real life, only my very good friends address me as “Jo”. If someone unchummy addresses me as “Jo”, I would feel slighly annoyed.
When I lived in England people couldn't say my name right (Katia) but I had loads of nicknames... curly, K, KG. In Italy also... not because they can't say my name, but they call me Amelie (from the movie), Streghetta (little witch) and many others I can't recall now... :-D
Inappropriate word..Hmmm.. Nothing comes to mind. My inappropriate word filter seems to be working, sadly.
Also, Patty is a sweet name! :)
I've gotten Mere and that made me almost vomit. Haha
HAHHAHAHHAHA!!!
Patty.
.....
GAAAAAAAAAAAH!!
I love it. Your new name.
my name is closer to Patty & i HATE it when people call me that, i cant imagine them mistaking your name for Patty, SOOO FAR from your name!
