Wedding Nightmares

Last Friday, I was able to cross one thing off my wedding to-do list: book venue! The picture above is where we will be having both our ceremony and our reception. The ceremony will be held right on the dock and the reception will be held upstairs in a large hall with floor to ceiling windows which will give us nice views of the water, mountains, and of course - the sunset!

I must be in denial about how overwhelming all this planning is b/c i had my first wedding nightmare last night. I dreamt that I did such a horrible job planning my wedding that I ended up with weeds as my wedding bouquet!!! I had uninvited guests who showed up and they were all wearing matching bedazzled neon green disco outfits. Worst of all, I saw my groom for the first time and he didn't look amused. hahaha!

Did you have any nightmares this weekend?

What a nightmare! How weird that the uninvited guests showed up wearing the same thing the groom has planned for his groomsmen!!! (he-he) But to be serious for a moment, you're ahead of where we were with wedding planning at this point. You're doing great.

I was lucky this weekend, the only nightmare was the loss of our phone and internet connection--and that wasn't bad at all. Except, now I need to catch up with everyone.

I did purposely have a nice story follow the mushroom scandal to balance things out, but I haven't gotten to the heroic stories yet. =)

woah... your venue is inspiring! i guess your nightmare signifies your being anxious. Planning a wedding can be nerve-racking. I've been there. haha Mine was a church wedding and the pre-requisites were driving me crazy!

Hi Kim!!!

Uninvited guests remind me of my darling's friend...
One of his friends showed up but actually there was no seat, no food and no gift for him X( Luckily, one of my friends didn't show up so everything went fine at last, but what a happening!!!

BTW, You are young!!! You really have a potential! I envy you :D Oh, may I ask you a question again. How did you relate your job to what you want to do... Isn't it a pressure to create things for others (not for yourself)?

I think everybody is the same. We dream bad when we have too many concerns... so do I!!! Countless nightmares!!!

Wow, that looks like a beautiful place to have a wedding. And I'm sure the dream is just from the stress of planning. I'm sure everything will go just fine :-)

Nightmares happen for one reason - to assure you that there's no place for it in real-life.

Everything will go on just fine, Kym!

The dock picture looks romantic. ^_^

Blogwalking here from ricademus's site. =)

Your wedding venue looks awesome! Sunset, orange-painted clouds and sky above the water how dreamy is that? I'm sure you would have an awesome wedding.

Neon green disco outfits? That's hilarious. Did you come across any nean green outfits in real scape recently? Probably why they existed in dreamscape.

I didn't have any nightmare only that I dreamt that I could not relieve myself no matter how hard I tried and it sucks but it's better to suck in the dream than to realise your bed is wet in real life I suppose. Ok I totally un-glamorize myself. *ashamed*

No nightmares this week! I don't think I've been getting enough sleep though - late nights, early mornings. haha.

I will say though, when I was working as a nanny FT and taking a few classes at college, i would dream the most awful dreams that involved babies dying while I'm trying to save them. :P

Aw sorry about the nightmare but your wedding venue is gorgeous! Such big windows, I'm sure your ceremony will be magical with such a beautiful back drop.

LOL @ your nightmare. You must've been more than grateful to wake up from it all. The worst must've been the uninvited guests. If that happened in real life, I would be a definite bridezilla. Thanks for sharing though, very entertained :) And congrads for finding such a beautiful place for the ceremony and reception!

Is that where I think it is? My friend had her wedding there in the summer and it was gorgeous!!

WAAAAIT is there the last location we went to before we said goodbye? The speed-skating and the funky glasses? This is bringing tears to my eyessssss. And oh boy, I hope that nightmare doesn't come true <3
