DAY 13 - Your Favourite Musician and Why...

I don't have a particular favourite musician but i must say, i love musicians from "back in the day". I'm an oldies kind of girl. I sing the songs you find in your karaoke today.Don't get me wrong, I still listen to current music.... but Nikolett can probably confirm my love for oldies as we air-guitared and sang to songs like "Believe" from Cher and "Summer of '69" when she visited. (miss you!) :)

Who's your favourite musician?

I love all kinds of music. I used to be a big Beatles, U2, Depeche Mode, INXS and Uriah Heep fan. Now I listen to whatever I feel like, I have a huge collection of mp3s, that varies from oldies to eighties to modern stuff :)

I love Chicago!

I prefer alternative type like Savage Garden. Adman Lambert fits in that genre...

Lots of oldies on my iPod, but no September of 69, no Bryan Admams. It's nothing against him personally! EWF and Chicago for sure. Beatles, Aerosmith, Temptations, and Elvis are there along with Sinatra, Coltrane & Davis, and Nickelback, Bedingfield, Lewis, Caillat, and on and on.

I've been trying to remember lyrics of an old--OLD song from the '50's or 60's, but I can't get it. I heard it once on the radio and loved it. But once was not enough for it to stay in my brain. It was something about not knowing if the love was real, but the guy would be happy if she stayed with him for a 1000 years or a million years or something. Thanks to my search I found some cool old songs, but not it. I know it's not "you don't have to stay forever" or "hold me, hold me"...just a simliar theme. Ugh!!! =)

aahhhh!!! I'm an oldies lover too!!! I mean, I do listen to the nowadays songs but they feel less special compared to the oldies, hahaha... =p

and I guess I'll need to follow you doing this challenge, because my blog is really too quiet lately *sigh* lol.

LOL, I searched through the top ten lists from '50 thru '70, but didn't find it. Then I dove into the top 100 lists, but I burned out in '58. Hopefully some day the lyrics will pop into my head.

Coltrane and Davis created my favorite jazz.

Congrats on getting into oneofakind! You and your merchandise both belong there! :P

oldies are always goodies! They give me a nostalgic feel....even though Im not that old! lol but they just carry a special feel wouldn't you say?

I agree with that daiso comment! Whenever I go I always end up finding things I all of the sudden "need" and "must have". lol o0o0o0 rainboots! Im almost ashamed to say I've to own a pair but Im currently on the hunt so if you know any good places please share!

If I can't find a pair soon Im going to cave in and buy the beautiful lace decorated pair I saw at holt refrew by valentino! BUT I must save money =( but....I swear I can hear them calling my name....(sucker for designer goods)

Being on top of school definitely has given me more time to do other things (like blog) and I actually feel "healthier" by not being so stressed all the time =)

can't wait for your t.v show post!
