Oh, The Places You'll Go!

this was my lunch time "fortune" on a mini roadtrip to Tulalip, WA this past weekend. :)

I love travelling. If you ask me if i'd rather spend $1,000 on a new purse or a new experience, i'd choose the latter. Perhaps it's because i've been on the move since I was young, having moved from the Philippines to Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, my family and i moved to a new place every 2 years. After Hong Kong, we moved to Canada, then I moved to California, then back to Canada.

It's the excitement leading up to my departure date, making my "to-pack" list, packing, waiting at the airport, take off, landing, taking your first breath of the new place once the airport doors open, exploring, trying new foods, getting sick from new foods, experiencing the culture, meeting the people, shopping for souvenirs... i love it all! (okay, maybe except for the getting sick from food part)

There are still so many places I would love to visit, especially now that I've become great friends with many of you here on blogger from around the world! Someday, someday... :)

Which country is first on your "to visit" list?

Omg This is always the decision I have to make after I save up enough spare money hahaha bag or vacay? Normally it's vacay but sometimes I get the bag bug and go crazy on them >< Hmmm I think the place at the top of my wishlist is Egypt followed by Morocco, Peru and maybe Tanzania =) It just sucks those places are hard for me to get to, not to mention my travel buddy aka the bf is not too keen on hitting those places up but I've managed to get him to find Peru and Egypt "cool" to visit so I'm not giving up yet! =D Hope you're doing well and have you heard about the King Tuttakkuahn(? LOL) Exhibition in Seattle? I can't wait to go, I believe it starts May 24 =)

Oh man what a question! I have no idea what place is #1 on my travel list, but I suspect it's somewhere warm!

Greece, definitely Greece. But there are obviously at least 5 other countries I can think of. ^^

I thought you actually went to Bora Bora! Was about to become green with envy, lol!

You already know how much I love to travel LOL. I can't seem to stay at a place for very long haha. But traveling is awesome :) You learn, see so much of the world. But at the same time, we tend to want a lot more and expect more in life because we've widen our "horizons".

So many places I'd like to visit, but Asia always holds a place in my heart. Esp SE Asia :) No more travel plans for the rest of the year cept India for Missions and maybe home for Christmas. But Thailand is next on the list! Going to save Europe for after I get married hahaha. Which will be a long long time from now :P

Gosh, there are so many places. But since my family is from Ireland and Germany, they would be near the top of the list.

I used to travel often, when I was younger and have been places. When I look back at my list, though, I know that I haven't done enough travelling and I hope to be able to explore more of this planet.

I'd love to go to Italy and Greece, too, like you. When I was in London I was asking my parents to let me go to Italy on my own -- but they wouldn't let me -- I regret not going. Cus now, it's more expensive to go to Europe from the Philippines!

re: I know what you mean about overpriced stuffed animals! 300$ for a large rilakkuma, I'll be truthful, they sell the really large on(half the size of me or more) for less than half that price in Japan! Guess that's how much it costs to import here hahhaha Oh and as for bubble queen their novelty is dying down after two disappointing drinks. The ferrero rocher and ramune slush but weren't good at all!! >< Hope you've been doing well!!! It's nice and warm now, yay!!!

I'm in between going to where I always wanted to go, Japan. Just to experience the food, culture and people. Which is weird considering that I live in HI and all the visitors are Japanese. Haha. My second choice is to go to Korea to see HOT KOREAN BOYS :O**
