How Do I Start My Own Clothing Line?

Oh hai!

Am i the only one who feels they have to explain themselves to the virtual world for being blog absent for a few weeks? :P Anyway, for many months now i've been pushing aside the idea of making videos for my business but I finally decided to just go for it. Better to try and fail than to not try at all and regret it later on!

Some of you have followed me in my business venture since Day 1 (thank you!) while some of you may not even know I have a business! Here is my story:

I hope you guys enjoyed it and learned something! Please feel free to share with any others you think would benefit from the video.

Have you ever wanted to start your own business?

Love it Kym. Do more videos!! Maybe eventually you can introduce the tedious side of the business like the paper work and keeping track of costs and profit. Just basic intro on software or programs you might need to get, tips on getting organized, dos and don'ts? But you've answered most of my q's already ; ) I'm getting my graphic design services out there and running first cause I need something to pay the bills. Other than that, business plan still in draft. I have too many ideas!! It's a good and bad thing lol cause now I can't decide. Thanks Kym!

Nice job Kym--and very smart. "Dreamer and doer", based on our on-line exchanges, I think that describes you well.

I had a business idea that would also help people, but my wife wouldn't let me do it. I've been planning to write a post about it.

Great video Kym! You offer practical advice, while also advocating following your dreams. If you do more, I think it would be interesting to see how you use social media to get connected, how your blog came into it, and also how you figured out what your focus is.

I love your jacket!! Haha.

Cool video. And very true and practical tips, too. I'd love to have my own business but I don't even really know my answer to number 1. Hah. Oh well. :P

You're very inspiring. Seriously it's gotten me completely motivated to get a jump start on what I want to do. This is seriously a great video for anyone not just wanting to start a business.

Yipppeee for taking over YouTube haha :) Your vid is definitely inspiration; I've wanted to maintain my graphics/web design business for a while but it's more of a casual/on-the-side thing because of wanting to be a teacher. Wish I could devote all my time to it sometimes, though :)

Hope you have an awesome Thanksgiving, Cats <3

Awesomely done, Kym! I'm proud to be following your developments from almost the beginning. And if I remember correctly, I was one of those who tried to drag you on twitter and eventually you made it :) So happy for you!
