I remember fortunes hidden on debutante's cakes as well! Funny though but I can't remember the fortunes I've gotten anymore XDBut these fortunes do not sound like forecasts no? They sound like quotable quotes. I am waiting for one that says "Join the lottery because you will *definitely* win" LOL!
LOL, silly girl! Sadly you're just wealthy in ways that don't spend--so far! ;PI thought I had two or three good fortunes tucked away, but now I can't find them. My last one read something like, "all the darkness in the world cannot put out a single candle."
I think mine was something like... you'll get a vacation or big break soon. Yeah right LOL. I haven't gotten one .. yet. Let's hope maybe sometime in the near future!!
Hi Kym,Those are nice!I mean, I don't even remember what was written on my cookies I had until now... they all said things that are not related to me... ha-ha!!!
Add "in bed" after the fortune, then they'll always be funny! When my friend told me that, I never looked at fortune cookie fortunes the same again haha
Sorry I'm unable to contribute to the wealthy friend fund! hehehehe. The last time I actually pulled a fortune out of a "cookie" was like 5 years ago, so yeah I don't remember!
these are pretty good fortunes! Sometimes I get ones that aren't grammatically correct. Or sentences that stop half way with a period LOL
I was also taught the ..."In bed" addition to all my fortune cookies and so I can never take them seriously. Not that I ever did. :P
The second one makes me laugh b/c it's so cheesy. XP But you know what? It's true. ;)
Today I felt sick, my knee hurts like hell and the car broke down... let's see... mmmm.... I'm alive and still smiling? Yes that's my fortune today! :-)
Haha - yeah, thanks for dropping by at my blog and for sharing! I'm glad I'm not the only one out there that thinks the same about most/some bicylists. For sure - the way some of them cycle around the city, you'd like they'd want a death wish and often yes, the driver is at fault even if the cyclist had a lot to do with the accident in the first place. I have the Neutrogena hand cream and I have repurchased it a few times. The regular Norwegian one is a bit greasy for me but the version that absorbs quicker isn't bad ;) Thanks for sharing Kym!Oh and I can't exactly recall what my last fortune cookie said - it was about a month ago....but I like what your first fortune had to say. I'm pretty sure by "wealth" it meant "happiness". The two can be seen the same, no? ;) But you're funny in how you interpreted it (or joked about it)!
Mine was: If you dun care about today, you shall not be hepi tomolo. I didn't understand it, but I thought it was funny, herro? :P
I had lunch with two Vietnamese friends today--one has a strong accent and the other has no accent. They kept confusing each other as they tried to explain to me who does what in their office. The confusion revolved around 2 women, a Kelly and a Kerri. #1: Kerry makes our payments. #2: No, Kelly does that. #3: I know, I said Kerry does it!!!I couldn't help but think of you and herro hachi. =)
I've never tried any fortune cookies! :O but that looks really interesting! I wonder what would MY fortune cookie say about me... hmm..
lol. you're so funny kym! im broke too... obviously my friends have no money too.oh em gee and you know whats even more sad?! we don't even hang out anymore because we're flat broke LOL!
Mine was: "Work on improving your exercise routine." Clearly, I don't exercise enough :P Great post! I really like the first fortune.
ohhh I never had a fortune cookie lol I dont thing they sell those here. Btw I tagged you on the Versatile blogger award on my blog. check it out when you have time :) you must be surely very busy with Herrohachi :)
