This reminded me of all the expressions I've one through in my life. In elementary school, "DUH!" and "WHATEV" were really big (complete with "W" sign with your fingers), then when i moved to California 6 years ago, I was using "SICK" and "DUDE" a lot. Now there's sheesh, geez, omg, el-oh-el, wtf, just sayin, and many more.
Expressions from other cultures are even better - "bloody ____", "bollocks", "jologs", and many others. Expressions are either made up words or ordinary words made into expressions, right? Hmmm... so does that i mean we can just throw out words like "ahh, toilet paper!!!!" in a moment of frustration? or "MACAROON!!!" in a moment of victory? Oh the possibilities.
What is a widely used expression/saying in your country?

So cool!
Our expressions here change all the time and much of it isn't in English. I do use a lot of "dude" and "just sayin" though! And "lush!" if something's awesome.
DAYYYMM!! I want one! But I'm brokety broke and don't know what i'll do with a pullover in sweltering Singapore. :\ Will you make 'em as tshirts? :P
Such a cool post, I just found your blog. I'm from Nor Cal and grew up saying "hella" and I went to college and met a lot more So-Cal people and they made fun of me saying people don't say "hella" except for NorCal. haha...
Following you now.

I have a fashion blog here in San Francisco

I say dude a lot hahaha it's super unladylike and my husband always cringes when I do it hahaha but I don't think most people do it just me hahaha
love the new design!
i think jologs is now changed into jejemon. haha!
if you visit phil, you can ask your relatives the meaning of that. im sure they know about it.
off shoulders and big sweaters are my fave! the whole concept is awesome! im just sayin'...
I would love it if people started shouting macaroon!! That would be brilliant! I'm not sure if it's an Irish thing but everyone says "I will, ya" (somewhat sarcastically) when they mean absolutely no way! ha ha
"fuck" and "eejits" ahahahhaha
Here in Denmark everybody says 'lol' as an actual words.. yeah baby, we pro boss vikings! ; D
I think I can get used to yelling "MACAROONS!" :P
These days "WEH?!" is the popular expression. It's like "Di nga??" or "Oh really" and "Yeah Right" rolled into one, only more sarcastic and funny. Haha. You should use it when you visit! :P
oh, maybe young people may say something but I just realized I don't really have that kind of expressions... but I do have the things I always say... which is pretty bloody X(
I really like your blog.

Well, we Malaysians are so used to using -LAH! in every end of our sentences, but I still don't know what the purpose for it :P
Erisha @ dazed daisies
Kymtastic expressions :)
i always, ALWAYS say "get some" or "spicy." and when i say always i mean it. people probably don't think i know any other words.
Hahaha! This is funny! I say crazy most of the time! And "you're so annoying" even if I don't think 'you' are! hahaha! I still use jologs now hahaha so old school but somehow it's a great description to a lot of things! :))
CHOS!
So excited for all your collabs! I don't really follow the expressions in our country (aside from saying 'eh?' an awful lot), I just make up my own phrases that I mess around with. Canada needs more cool sayings!
love the photo and i ESPECIALLY love your off the shoulder sweaters :D or whatever they're technically called.
i guess in socal we say "man" or "dude" a lot.. hahaha. other than that, not really sure!
I definitly want to shout macaroon when Im in a moment of victory now hahaha sometimes my sister and I make up or change certain unpleasant words. For example, instead of saying b***** we say butch....yeah Im not sure how that happened LOL We use it in a joking term, I don't think I could ever say someone is a you-know-what, when Im joking, so butch it is haha
lovely post!
check out my blog and follow if ud like :D
